This delicate, floral scented bar with a blend of jasmine, wild rose and warm sandalwood celebrates femininity with flair! Moisturizing mango butter and rich olive, avocado and jojoba oils pack this bar with emollient, conditioning power while pink kaolin clay and rose hips cleanse toxins from the skin and scalp. Ingredients: saponified oils of organic coconut, organic olive, mango seed butter, unrefined organic cocoa butter, castor bean and organic jojoba, pink kaolin clay, rose hips, rosemary oil extract, and essential oils of orange, cinnamon leaf, fragrance*.
*Please be aware that this shampoo bar does contain a blend of pure essential oils plus less than .01% of a phthalate-free fragrance oil too boost the natural scent, find out more. As this soap contains a synthetic fragrance it is now being DISCONTINUED, once it's sold out it will not be coming back. If we can create a similar scent profile, or a scent that we think is reminiscent of this soap with just essential oils, we will bring it back. But the new version will be 100% natural, all of the same base ingredients, but with a slightly difference scent.

If you've never used a solid shampoo bar in your hair, you may wonder "how do I do that?" It's easy. Just get your hair wet, take the bar and rub it all over your scalp and hair. Put the bar down and work it into a wonderful lather. You may find that the first time you use a shampoo/body bar in your hair it feels different. Using natural ingredients is not going to give you the same feeling chemically laden choices do because the natural oils are not being stripped away. In addition, your hair may require a transition process before it is fully free of all the other chemicals and residues from prior hair products. You can read more about this transition process HERE.

My bathroom smells like a greenhouse
What a welcoming scent on a 24 degree day. I used this last night for the first time and I am happy it lacks that geranium smell a fair amount of rose scents contain. This has an almost menthol rose scent. It lathered very well. I used it on my curly hair and all over body to cleanse and shave. I love these bars. Just don't let the soap get in your eyes it burns like the dickens. But we all know that's good because it means it wasn't tested on animals. I often use desert essence brand conditioners with the shampoo bars but only on the length of my hair. I'll have to make a note of this one for gift giving. It brings me back to my childhood with my grandmother's bathroom adorned with knitted tissue covers. Very soothing. Washed well and didn't dry out my skin. I'm still searching for the shampoo to help revive my heavy curls.

Amazing Scent
I just ADORE the scent of this bar. It is divine. The first time I used It I did not have much luck with it. I had oiled my hair beforehand and it was too much for this bar to remove from my fine hair. I was also just switching back to shampoo bars again after going back to store shampoos for a few years. I waited about a week and tried it again and this time it is was fabulous. I do use a mild vinegar rinse followed by a distilled water rinse. We have pretty hard water here in the area of middle Tennessee I am in. I was very tempted to try not using the rinse this morning because my hair really felt that it could. I decided I better not risk it because I had things to do and didn't want to deal with a not so good hair day. My hair dried so soft and fluffy but in a good way fluffy. And it smells so delicious. So far this and the Lavender Buttermilk are my favorites from AVNS! If you try a shampoo bar and don't like it the first time you try it, put it away for a while and try it again after a while. It still may not work for you, but chances are it might. Don't be scared off if you have hard water either. It may take you a while longer to figure out how to make it work for you, but when you do it is FABULOUS!

Bella Rose Shampoo/Body bar
I loved this soap especially paired with the roll-on scent and jocoba oil. The reason that I rate this a 4 is because it used up quicker than most soaps. This ,however, did not stop me from buying another bar.

Lovely subtle scent!
This is not a bar that I would have picked for myself, as I am hesitant to use bars with fragrance. I received a free sample of this bar with my recent order and after trying it I absolutely love it! I've always been afraid to try a shampoo bar or body bar with fragrance because of how my skin would react. I am not disappointed with this bar and I will definitely be purchasing a full sized bar with my next order!

Love, love, love
I originally started using shampoo bars from J. R. Liggetts and loved the way that they made my hair feel. After some time, though, I found that they weren't really doing much justice to the scent of my hair. I looked around and found your shampoo bars and I am in love. Not only do they make my hair feel happy and healthy, unlike regular shampoos which make my hair feel limp and thin, but they make my hair smell amazing. Thank you so much for your work. I am definitely a forever customer. :)

Smells so much like roses!
Surprised that it actually did smell like roses. But does not eliminate dandruff for me like some of the other AVN shampoo bars do. Will use it on my body because the smell is amazing.

My Personal Favorite
Of all the shampoo bars I have tried from Apple Valley, Bella Rose is my favorite. The look, lather, smell and after effects on my hair all combine to make one awesome bar. The smell is my favorite of all too. I had to purchase a sample of the Bella Rose Perfume oil to go with this shampoo. I just love this one; especially the scent. It is my go to hair and body bar duo

My all time favorite shampoo & body bar!
I love this bar. Easy on the skin and makes my hair soft and curly without the usual frizz I have. The fragrance is divine if you are a rose lover.
