If you've never used a solid shampoo bar in your hair, you may wonder "how do I do that?" It's easy. Just get your hair wet, take the bar and rub it all over your scalp and hair. Put the bar down and work it into a wonderful lather. You may find that the first time you use a shampoo/body bar in your hair it feels different. Using natural ingredients is not going to give you the same feeling chemically laden choices do because the natural oils are not being stripped away. In addition, your hair may require a transition process before it is fully free of all the other chemicals and residues from prior hair products. You can read more about this transition process HERE.

the best smelling shampoo/soap ever!
It smells so fresh and clean, lathers fairly well (though not as good as the cowboy for example), and is really moisturizing for the hair. My hair tends to feel a little oily after this one, but I like using it in combination with the white china silk (alternating days) as the w.c.s. takes care of the oiliness AMAZINGLY, yet I worry about using it too often and stripping my hair of silkiness, so then I use this one once in a while. (I have thin, fine hair that used to alternate between being oily and dry, but not anymore!) The people who complain of it making their hair dry or tangly must have hard water or maybe just wrong hair type for it, it doesn't have that effect on my hair at all.

Wonderful Smell and Lather
We have a water softener AND a filtered shower head, but it is difficult getting a comb through my hair after washing. It tangles real easily. (It would be greatly appreciated if you could make a detangler with ALOT of slip!)So, I can't use the shampoo bars for my hair. I do, however, use them as body bars, and this one smells heavenly!

good for fine thin hair
I like the light scent of this bar. It is not overly scented but enough to enjoy. It works well on my fine thin hair...even feels like my hair has more body. I also enjoy that I don't really need a conditioner after shampooing with this soap...my hair is easy to comb through...

Not for me but...
I didn't like this for my hair. I thought with the coconut it would be really great. I love the smell and it lathers like crazy. The only problem is it makes my hair feel dry and it didn't want to style. It was a bit crazy looking. I do like to use it as a body bar though. So not a total wash out...lol. Just not for my hair.

Great Scent
I'm partial to anything coconut. I just love coconut scent and flavor. I use coconut oil for just about everything so of course I'm going to purchase any shampoo with it in it. I was not disappointed at all. The scent and smell are superb with the combinations flowing just right. It's not too heavy or light on my hair. I was able to brush it and it felt clean and light.

EPIC FAIL FOR MY HAIR..GREAT BODY SOAP
I was really excited to find a pure product I could use on my hair; and, I purchased this largely due to the overwhelming positive reviews. However, the second I rinsed it out my hair, it felt completely stripped like I used regular soap on it. I have fine highlighted hair and it literally took over a half hour to get the knots out of my hair! I used my regular styling products, but now my hair is greasy and heavy. By far the worst product I have used on my hair. I would not use or purchase again for my hair, but it makes a great body soap. AVNS response: If you use shampoo bars with hard water, the minerals in the hard water will bond with the soap molecules and create all kinds of problems for you. Great Product
I love this..I had been using a very expensive cleansing cream and have been looking for a more reasonable product that still made my hair look good. I am not disappointed. I can comb my hair out with no conditioner, and my hair looks great days without rewashing it.
