    • Herbal Vinegar Hair Rinse Concentrate – Raw Organic Apple CiderVinegar with 9 Certified Organic Herbs – pH Balancing Scalp & Hair Treatment.

      • RAW ORGANIC APPLE CIDER VINEGAR WITH THE MOTHER – Made with certified organic, raw ACV that retains the "mother" — the naturally occurring beneficial enzymes and nutrients that make raw apple cider vinegar so effective. The natural acidity removes scaly buildup and residue from the scalp and hair shaft, closes cuticles so they lie flat, and restores your scalp's natural pH balance.

      • 9 CERTIFIED ORGANIC HERBS FOR SCALP & HAIR HEALTH – Infused with marshmallow root, horsetail, nettles, chamomile, lavender, comfrey, rosemary, calendula, and yarrow — a carefully chosen blend of herbs packed with trace minerals and vitamins that nourish the scalp, strengthen the hair shaft, and support overall scalp health from root to tip.

      • SHINIER, SMOOTHER, MORE MANAGEABLE HAIR – When hair cuticles lie flat, light reflects evenly — producing visible shine that no synthetic conditioner can replicate naturally. Regular use of this rinse leaves hair noticeably shinier, smoother, easier to detangle, and healthier looking with every wash.

      • ESSENTIAL COMPANION FOR SHAMPOO BAR USERS – A vinegar hair rinse is a critical part of any natural shampoo bar routine. It neutralizes any mineral buildup, restores pH balance disrupted during cleansing, and ensures your hair fully reaps the benefits of natural ingredients. If you use a shampoo bar and skip the rinse, you're only getting half the results.

      • CONCENTRATE — USE FULL STRENGTH OR DILUTED– Flexible enough for every hair type and preference. Use 1–2 tbsp for dry or normal hair, or 2–4 tbsp for oily hair, added to an applicator bottle filled with water or 8 oz of water. Apply to roots and scalp after shampooing — no need to rinse out. Or use full strength once or twice a week for an intensive treatment.

If you've switched to natural shampoo bars and your hair isn't behaving the way you hoped — this is what's missing.

Apple Valley Natural Soap's Herbal Vinegar Hair Rinse is a certified organic apple cider vinegar concentrate, infused with nine purposefully chosen organic herbs, that does something no conditioner can: it works with your hair's natural biology rather than coating it with synthetic ingredients.

Here's the science in plain terms. Every hair shaft is covered in tiny cuticle scales. Alkaline products — including most shampoos, and even natural shampoo bars — cause those scales to lift slightly. When cuticles are raised, hair looks dull, feels rough, and tangles easily. Apple cider vinegar is naturally acidic, which closes those cuticle scales back down, causing them to lie flat. Flat cuticles reflect light evenly —which is what creates genuine, natural shine. They also create a smoother surface that's easier to detangle and manage.

Beyond the pH-balancing effect of the vinegar itself, this concentrate is infused with nine certified organic herbs — marshmallow root, horsetail, nettles, chamomile, lavender, comfrey, rosemary, calendula, and yarrow — each chosen for their specific benefits to scalp and hair health. Together they deliver trace minerals, vitamins, and botanical nutrients directly to your scalp and hair shaft with every use.

A vinegar hair rinse is a critical part of your shampoo bar regimen. You can read more about why this is so important in our article How to Use a Shampoo Bar.

This listing if for our bottle of Herbal Hair Rinse Concentrate, which simply means you can use it with a AVNS applicator bottle at full strength once or twice a week or diluted with water for everyday use.

      How To Use:
Add 1-2 Tbsp of our Concentrate for dry/normal hair, or 2-4 Tbsp for oily hair to our Applicator Bottle and fill with water. After washing your hair with one of our conditioning shampoo bars, apply at roots all over scalp and hair, no need to rinse out. Use each time after shampooing for soft beautiful hair. This is actually my preferred method of using a hair rinse. It's easy to use and I love the feel of getting the rinse all the way down to my roots, knowing that my scalp is benefiting as much as my hair.

PLEASE NOTE: Vinegar is not a conditioner. But rinsing with apple cider vinegar will help balance the pH of your hair and will also close the numerous cuticle scales which cover and protect the surface of each hair shaft. This imparts a smoother surface which reflects more light and leaves your hair shinier, smoother and easier to manage.

      9 ounce glass bottle.

This is my first time using a hair rinse and it works great with your shampoo bars! The vinegar smell fades quickly and leaves my hair soft and shiny!

It worked well in my hair, but the smell was a little too much for me. I tried the citric acid rinse instead, and I'm very happy with it.

So grateful for this rinse. Leaves my hair soft after I've washed it with one of AVNS shampoo bars. The scent does not linger long after my hair dries. I love the spray bottle. PLEASE do not quit making your hair rinses.... They are great! That'd be like having really good all natural vanilla ice cream to eat, (which is yummy by its self) but no fresh strawberries to top it. (or any fresh berries, or chocolate, etc.,) which make it perfect. :)

This gets the soap residue out of my hair (bad water), and brings out highlights. Pleasant scent.

Ever since I had my baby I've had horrible itchy dry scalp and tried everything! This has worked wonders! I love it! Thank you!

This is by far the best apple cider rinse. It may be cheaper to just use apple cider vinegar on your hair, but it is so much easier to use this spray bottle without having to premeasure or pour yourself and the smell is so much better than straight vinegar. I love the infused herbal scents and I love that I can use it after I shower as a detangler too

I've used a few different natural rinse methods (including ACV, diluted with purified water) and none of them compare to how soft my hair feels after I use AVNS's herbal rinse. The added herbals really make all the difference!

I know some of you don't like the smell of acv but to me I love this smell because my hair doesn't smell of chemicals but of God's creations and the smell reminds me of the ways I am living to live for Him and not this world that is full of fake fragrances.

Although my sprayer did not work, I transferred it to another spray bottle and went on about my shower. I love it. I was using a white vinegar rinse and this one beats that to pieces. I use it after my conditioner and rinse it clean. It makes my hair even softer after it's conditioned.

This spray is certainly convenient and keeps me from wasting a bunch of vinegar by just pouring it over my head. It has made my hair look a lot nicer after 2 weeks of using it. For myself personally, I noticed that if I spray the top of my head, it makes my scalp look oily really fast the day after, although that's probably because I have fine hair and pretty oily skin to begin with. I've stuck now to just spraying the length of my hair and my scalp on the sides of my head.
I think my only complaint is that the sprayer makes the mist so fine that it's hard not to breathe the ACV in through my nose when I'm spraying. I've had to hold my breath and spray a little at a time. Still, I would definitely recommend this product!

I've been using apple cider vinegar to rinse my hair for 27 years now, but this is simply moreconvenient and easy to use. The smell isn't as strong so it won't burn your eyes as much if you use it while you shower.

I LOVE this product for my hair - I have fine, thin hair, but it gets oily really fast if I use conditioner. But, with THIS product, I just spray my hair lightly after washing and towel-drying, and leave it in. It leaves my hair so soft and manageable. YAY!!!

The rinse did an amazing job at helping my hair transition quickly to natural shampoo bars, however...the sprayer stopped working after just one use so I had to pour some in a jar, dilute it with water and then pour over my hair. I went through the rinse VERY quickly this way...making it a super expensive purchase. I can't afford to spend $30+ a month for an ACV hair rinse...even if it works wonderfully. A+ for the rinse, D- for the sprayer.

AVNS RESPONSE: Lindsay, we recently had a batch of rinses that were not completely strained. This caused some of the sprayers to clog with the excess herb still left in the rinse. All customers who contacted us about the problem were immediately shipped a brand new rinse that has been strained properly. We have many customers named "Lindsay" so I'm not sure which one you are, but we encourage folks to contact us if a product is defective.

This Vinegar hair rinse is fantastic!
I read that this rinse was great and boy is it! I have dry, fine, frizzy hair which needs a lot of conditioner and product. Well I washed it with a shampoo bar and then sprayed in the rinse, which I left in and used nothing else on my hair. This NEVER happens!
    Love, love, love it!!

I wanted to love this. I've been using my own ACV rinse for over a year by mixing ACV with water and just pouring it over my head. The idea of adding beneficial herbs sounded really great - and it smells good! However, the sprayer literally broke into three pieces when I first tried to use it, forcing me to either pour it into a new spray bottle, or pour it over my head. This stuff is just way too expensive to pour over your head like plain ACV rinse, especially if you have thick BSL hair like mine.

AVNS RESPONSE: Melissa, contact us! We'd be happy to send a replacement sprayer so you can enjoy your purchase! :)

I love the ACV rinse. I use it after one of the awesome shampoo bars, and it leaves my hair soft and shiny. I don't rinse it out, as I think it works better as a leave-in conditioner.

Great product in combination with the shampoo bars. The scent isn't as bad as I thought considering the vinegar.

I love this, my hair is happier and healthier thanks to AV shampoo bars and this rinse. I don't rinse it our and it leaves my hair shiny and lovely, my husband keeps touching my hair & loves it too. Thank you

I may be weird but I love the scent of ACV so I had no qualms about trying out this product. I found the container and sprayer genius and extremely helpful in putting it on my hair. It does what it says and I like the add bonus of the herbs added in. An added, and unexpected, bonus is that it has helped clear up the stubborn acne around my hair line and shoulders :)

I love this vinegar rinse and the spray bottle is fantastic for getting the right amount in your hair. After using one of the many fantastic shampoo bars, I will spray my hair and let it soak in. Although there is no need to rinse it out, it is my preference to rinse and follow with the Relax scent Jojoba Oil. When I first started using the shampoo bars I used the vinegar rinse daily. After a few weeks and finding the right shampoo bar for me I now use it once or twice a week. My hair is definitely happier and healthier. No more bad hair days for me!

I love that this vinegar rinse has other ingredients added to help benefit your hair and scalp and tone down the vinegar smell. Of course you can still smell the vinegar but I'd be a little concerned if I didn't! The smell does go away quickly as your hair dries! This is really convenient to use compared to me making my own rinse without all of the other great ingredients in this. It sprays a light mist and makes it easy cover your entire head.

I love the herbs AVNS used to infuse their ACV rinse. ACV itself is not really my preferred scent, but the scent of the herbs definitely makes it better! The herbal properties are also more conditioning than using plain ACV. When my hair dries, I can't smell any vinegar (tested by my husband too). My hair just smells like clean hair. This is a must for my hair cleansing regimen to prevent buildup of hair product or the occasional soap residue feeling (unless I get a water softener). The most frequently I will use this is every other wash, which equates to about twice a week for me. I love the spray bottle, although I purchased this when the spray bottle was shaped a little differently.

I regularly use a vinegar/water spray to smooth my hair so a vinegar rinse isn't all that new to me, but I LOVE the herbs in this product. I let it dry in my hair without rinsing it and it left a very light herbal scent and lovely soft hair. The fine mist spray was great at getting my hair covered without wasting any product. I really love that I didn't have to mix it up!

Stills smells like Vinegar(would it be all natural if it didn't!?) but the added herbs tone the smell down, in my opinion. It is super convenient and sprays a fine mist throughout the hair, making it easy to distribute! This is a fabulous product for those who don't like the hassle of an ACV but still want the benefits.

I bought this a month or two back and have been using it since then. It is really convenient to use and it prevents too much apple cider vinegar getting onto other parts of my face and body which I don't particularly fancy when pouring over my head! I can't say I love the smell but it works for my hair and scalp and I can't say enough how much more convenient it is compared to making my very own apple cider vinegar rinse!
