In fact, we've come up with four mesmerizing scents made with therapeutic grade essential oils to tantalize the most discriminating nostrils. We've also added aloe vera to soothe and condition your scalp. Find out how and why you need an acid hair rinse in our article, How to Use a Shampoo Bar.

Ingredients: distilled water, aloe vera, essential oils (or natural fragrance*), citric acid, plantaSol CCG**, ascorbic acid.

This product comes in an 8 oz. bottle with a trigger sprayer that must be unlocked before you can dispense the product. There is a little tab/button right under the sprayer, just above the part of the sprayer head which screws onto the actual bottle that needs to be pushed in. This will unlock the sprayer mechanism. Using this locking mechanism makes taking your hair rinse with you when traveling easy and hassle free, as you don't need to worry about leakage.
20 ml samples packaged in a frosted mini-sprayer (perfect for traveling!) are now available for $3.45 each! Try them all!
* Made from essential oils & botanical aromatic isolates, certified synthetic free.
** We use PlantaSol CCG (INCI Name: Caprylyl Capryl Glucoside) in these hair rinses. We want to provide our customers ease in using our products while also staying as natural as possible, so we will continue to look for improvements to ingredients that bring us closer to that goal. We use PlantaSol CCG because it is only rated as a 1 on the Skin Deep database. It is Ecocert approved and is a vegetable-derived solubilizer.

good...
I tried a sample of this.. I purchased the lavender mint. it smells good, I have used it twice so far. It is a very fine mist as others have said. I feel like I would go through this very quickly and I have pretty long hair so i'm not sure financially it is a good choice. I love the smell, I have tried vinegar before and it made my hair smell like a sour mop! so I like this product a lot. it definitely has made transitioning much better..

smells great, but doesn't work as well as hoped
It's a very fine mist and so you have to try to deliberately cover all of your hair. The smell is fantastic, and it seems to work ok to seal the cuticle in my hair so it's shiny, but I notice that my hair is has more static and less body than when I use ACV, and since ACV costs a lot less I will probably not buy this again.

Love it
Leaves my hair soft and conditioned, as well as my scalp.

Citric Rinse
I really like these citric rinses. They smell good and are perfect for people with blonde hair. The ACV rinses discolor my hair. The citric makes my hair shine! Definitely recommend

Jasmine Rose Smells So Good
I don't really care for the scent of vinegar but with my hard water I must use an acid rinse to use my shampoo bars. I decided to try this as an alternative, plus I loved the description of the scent. I have used this when I am in an area with softer water and it works great there. It is not strong enough for me to use at home though where my water is very hard. I am still giving this 5 stars because it does work great in the right conditions. My water at home is just too hard and I need something stronger.

Smells Lovely
I ordered a sample of the Lavender Mint. I'm not sure if it was working but it did always make my scalp feel very good for awhile after rinsing my hair with it. I also very much the way it made my hair smell.

Hello orange
I use baking soda for shampoo so I struggle with dry ends. I tried this product and WOW!! I love how clean my hair feels and it doesn't have an over powering smell, I don't feel like I have something stuck in my hair and it's smooth. Love the spray bottle, I use less and I don't have to dump it on my hair!

Lavender mint
didn't like the lavender mint...did help get rid of a LITTLE bit of the disgusting feeling that the soap bars left on my hair. AVNS Response: From the description here, it sounds like you have hard water. That "disgusting feeling" is what I get when I try to use my bars while traveling and staying in hotels with hard water, for example. Unfortunately an acid rinse will not be able to solve that issue effectively. An acid rinse IS effective under the right conditions, and soft water or a good water filter is necessary when using shampoo bars.
