If you've never used a solid shampoo bar in your hair, you may wonder "how do I do that?" It's easy. Just get your hair wet, take the bar and rub it all over your scalp and hair. Put the bar down and work it into a wonderful lather. You may find that the first time you use a shampoo/body bar in your hair it feels different. Using natural ingredients is not going to give you the same feeling chemically laden choices do because the natural oils are not being stripped away. In addition, your hair may require a transition process before it is fully free of all the other chemicals and residues from prior hair products. You can read more about this transition process HERE.

Shiny hair
I really love the shea shampoo bar unscented. It lathers up great and makes my hair looking clean and shiny. My husband loves it too. I always keep a big stock of these soaps on hand.

Half sized shampoo/ soap bar.
Love them. Perfect size to be able to try them all. I love the shampoo bars because my hair is naturally curly and i normally have alot of frizz on top of that itchy and dry scalp and dandruff really bad. Well these shampoo bars have made my hair perfectly balanced and not a a bit of itchyness anymore. I swear by these shampoo bars that i have gotten some for my whole family. They want more.

I LOVE this soap! Total convert due to it's all natural, no sulfates, purity. Lathers really well and smells great. I travel ALOT so now to have half bars is perfect to travel with in a standard size travel soap dish. Love it!

Half Size Shampoo Bars
I ordered the Restore and the Green Tea and Nettles half sized bars. I have very oily hair and unfortunately they did not work great as shampoo. They left a residue even after the vinegar rise. I do use them, however, as body soap and shaving bars. My legs have never been softer or more razor-bump free than when shaving with these bars. My skin is so soft. They both smell very good and clean, too! I would guess that someone with a more dry head of hair would do well with this product!

I ordered this bar for the volume. Volume was GREAT, but whoa does it dry hair out. I threw it away.

I ordered two of the half bars of shampoo. I loved how squeaky clean it left my hair. My husband was able to rub his head with the bar. It lathered up beautifully. My hair is quite fine and long. I found that if I rub it with the direction of the hair and only on the scalp, it worked really well and didn't cause a big tangle at the end.

I had ordered and used up my "sample" pack and had made notes on which I liked the most. I came back and decided to order the half bars for the variety. With their bars I only need to wash my hair about every 4 days, but generally still wash it every 3 days. This is another great value from AVNS and their rewards program just makes stocking up so easy. Remember you can use these on your body too!
