If you've never used a solid shampoo bar in your hair, you may wonder "how do I do that?" It's easy. Just get your hair wet, take the bar and rub it all over your scalp and hair. Put the bar down and work it into a wonderful lather. You may find that the first time you use a shampoo/body bar in your hair it feels different. Using natural ingredients is not going to give you the same feeling chemically laden choices do because the natural oils are not being stripped away. In addition, your hair may require a transition process before it is fully free of all the other chemicals and residues from prior hair products. You can read more about this transition process HERE.

Shampoo bars

Shampoo Bars 2
I think I accidentally swapped the labels for the shampoo and one of the other bars 3 bars I have because I finally got it to work...was using the wrong one because they all smell the same to me. I absolutely love the camping soap, I work outside a lot at night and still not as many bugs around when I use it. Is it going to be available year round or just during the summer?

Shampoo Bars
I've tried the shampoo, it's labeled as shampoo but I've only been able to use it as a body wash because it makes my hair oily within half an hour afterwards. Absolutely love the scent and it does keep the mosquitos away.

Half Sized Shampoo Bars
I like the size of these bars. When I order more of them, I will order the full sized bars and cut them in half for ease of use. I bought a few different scents to try. The Lavender Buttermilk, Rhassoul & Avocado, and Chamomile & Orange Blossom are my favorites. Scent preferences are such a personal thing. My daughter really likes the Peppermint Tea Tree bar. All the bars have worked well for me - my hair is soft, shiny and very clean. I've never liked shampooing my hair before - now I'm happy to make any excuse I can to wash my hair!

Shampoo Bars
I love these shampoo bars on many levels! They are convenient, good for travel, leave no packaging waste, 2 in 1 (soap and shampoo), work very well, are well priced, and because of their wonderful scents they feel like a luxury! I have so enjoyed the ones I've tried, and I look forward to trying new ones. Thanks AVNS - I'm hooked!

Shampoo Bars
They are Great! They take a little while to lather, but they smell Great! They are also so much better for the environment than using all the plastic bottles.

Earth Shampoo Bar
My hair is white and fine and I have well water. I was afraid this would make my hair limp and leave a residue. So far it has done neither. My hair seems brighter and thicker and feels great. I do use a mild vinegar rinse after each shampoo. I also tried the grey shampoo which works ok, but not quite as well as the Earth. I will order again.
