Hemp seed oil stimulates the scalp for renewed hair growth, it strengthens hair, improves blood circulation and reduces inflammation, hemp seed oil also protects hair from damage and treats a variety of scalp issues, and the list goes on.
All these wonderful benefits when combined with the anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory properties of babassu, the anti-aging and hydrating benefits of olive oil & cocoa butter, and the healing properties of shea butter and honey*, means you've got a super packed, highly desirable shampoo bar.
We have chosen to not add any essential oils to this bar to keep it free and clear for those who are desiring an unscented version. Which means this is a great bar to use on your pets, safe and effective in cleaning their fur/hair while not stripping their natural oils. *Some bars will show "speckling" from the honey as it occasionally crystalizes when going through the soaping process. This doesn't effect the soap in any way other than with the look of the bar.
If you've never used a solid shampoo bar in your hair, you may wonder "how do I do that?" It's easy. Just get your hair wet, take the bar and rub it all over your scalp and hair. Put the bar down and work it into a wonderful lather. You may find that the first time you use a shampoo/body bar in your hair it feels different. Using natural ingredients is not going to give you the same feeling chemically laden choices do because the natural oils are not being stripped away. In addition, your hair may require a transition process before it is fully free of all the other chemicals and residues from prior hair products. You can read more about this transition process HERE.

Hemp & Honey Bar
A fantastic product that works well as both a hair and body bar, though I primarily use it for my hair. It smells and lathers great, and really leaves my hair fresh and clean. It is very good for saving space while traveling as well.

What love about this shampoo bar is it is very moisturizing and has virtually zero scent. I also have experienced hair growth with this and it’s just amazing! It has taken care of my itchy scalp and it makes my hair shiny and very soft and healthy looking!

Life Changing!!! A must have!!!
I know this going to sound absolutely insane because it is just a shampoo bar, but this shampoo bar paired with their apple cider spray absolutely changed my hair, and the relationship I have with my hair and self confidence. Prior to this shampoo bar, I was using so many hair products, and yet, I was still wearing my hair up all the time because it would be this frizzy, lack of structure, hair that honestly made me feel so embarrassed half the time. It was very defeating as I just wanted hair that would take form and be easy to manage (A curly hair dream). This bar made my hair so beautiful and managable that I could finally let my hair down now. I feel so much more confident with my hair and myself. Thank you AVNS for making these and making hair care easier and our days a little brighter. If you are ready to change your hair this is the product to go to. Hemp and Honey 2.0 shampoo and Body Bar
I have used AVNS shampoo bars for years. But after having a high fever with COVID last fall I noticed quite a bit of hair shedding which sent me into a bit of a panic. I read the description on this bar which said the ingredients stimulate hair growth and stimulate the scalp I knew I had to try it. I am not sure it was coincidental, but my hair shedding ceased after a bit and now I notice my hair being restored to its natural thickness. Also, this bar provides rich moisturizing and nourishment to my almost fully grey head of hair. I will definitely be purchasing this bar again. Thank you AVNS!
