Product Overview
Our herbal vinegar hair rinse is made with RAW certified organic apple cider vinegar - with the mother (if you're not familiar with what that is, trust us, it is a good thing!) The organic vinegar is infused with nine certified organic herbs that your hair and scalp will love. Packed with trace minerals and vitamins, these herbs will nourish your scalp and strengthen your hair shaft. The acid in the vinegar removes scaly build up and residue on the scalp and hair shaft and closes the cuticles causing them to lie flat and SHINE. Using this rinse also restores the natural pH balance of your scalp, preventing it from becoming dried out and itchy. Your hair will look and feel soft and healthy.
A vinegar hair rinse is a critical part of your shampoo bar regimen. You can read more about why this is so important in our article How to Use a Shampoo Bar.
This listing if for our bottle of Herbal Hair Rinse Concentrate, which simply means you can use it with a AVNS applicator bottle at full strength once or twice a week or diluted with water for everyday use.
Directions:
Add 1-2 Tbsp of our Concentrate for dry/normal hair, or 2-4 Tbsp for oily hair to our Applicator Bottle and fill with water. After washing your hair with one of our conditioning shampoo bars, apply at roots all over scalp and hair, no need to rinse out. Use each time after shampooing for soft beautiful hair. This is actually my preferred method of using a hair rinse. It's easy to use and I love the feel of getting the rinse all the way down to my roots, knowing that my scalp is benefiting as much as my hair.
PLEASE NOTE: Vinegar is not a conditioner. But rinsing with apple cider vinegar will help balance the pH of your hair and will also close the numerous cuticle scales which cover and protect the surface of each hair shaft. This imparts a smoother surface which reflects more light and leaves your hair shinier, smoother and easier to manage.
Ingredients: certified organic raw apple cider vinegar infused with certified organic herbs of marshmallow root, horsetail, nettles, chamomile, lavender, comfrey, rosemary, calendula, and yarrow.

Great product
Although my sprayer did not work, I transferred it to another spray bottle and went on about my shower. I love it. I was using a white vinegar rinse and this one beats that to pieces. I use it after my conditioner and rinse it clean. It makes my hair even softer after it's conditioned.

Softer hair!
This spray is certainly convenient and keeps me from wasting a bunch of vinegar by just pouring it over my head. It has made my hair look a lot nicer after 2 weeks of using it. For myself personally, I noticed that if I spray the top of my head, it makes my scalp look oily really fast the day after, although that's probably because I have fine hair and pretty oily skin to begin with. I've stuck now to just spraying the length of my hair and my scalp on the sides of my head. I think my only complaint is that the sprayer makes the mist so fine that it's hard not to breathe the ACV in through my nose when I'm spraying. I've had to hold my breath and spray a little at a time. Still, I would definitely recommend this product!

Love it
I've been using apple cider vinegar to rinse my hair for 27 years now, but this is simply moreconvenient and easy to use. The smell isn't as strong so it won't burn your eyes as much if you use it while you shower.

REALLY awesome product for hair!!
I LOVE this product for my hair - I have fine, thin hair, but it gets oily really fast if I use conditioner. But, with THIS product, I just spray my hair lightly after washing and towel-drying, and leave it in. It leaves my hair so soft and manageable. YAY!!!

Loved the rinse...not the sprayer.
The rinse did an amazing job at helping my hair transition quickly to natural shampoo bars, however...the sprayer stopped working after just one use so I had to pour some in a jar, dilute it with water and then pour over my hair. I went through the rinse VERY quickly this way...making it a super expensive purchase. I can't afford to spend $30+ a month for an ACV hair rinse...even if it works wonderfully. A+ for the rinse, D- for the sprayer. AVNS RESPONSE: Lindsay, we recently had a batch of rinses that were not completely strained. This caused some of the sprayers to clog with the excess herb still left in the rinse. All customers who contacted us about the problem were immediately shipped a brand new rinse that has been strained properly. We have many customers named "Lindsay" so I'm not sure which one you are, but we encourage folks to contact us if a product is defective.

Fantastic!
This Vinegar hair rinse is fantastic! I read that this rinse was great and boy is it! I have dry, fine, frizzy hair which needs a lot of conditioner and product. Well I washed it with a shampoo bar and then sprayed in the rinse, which I left in and used nothing else on my hair. This NEVER happens! Love, love, love it!!

Spayer Fell Apart with First Use
I wanted to love this. I've been using my own ACV rinse for over a year by mixing ACV with water and just pouring it over my head. The idea of adding beneficial herbs sounded really great - and it smells good! However, the sprayer literally broke into three pieces when I first tried to use it, forcing me to either pour it into a new spray bottle, or pour it over my head. This stuff is just way too expensive to pour over your head like plain ACV rinse, especially if you have thick BSL hair like mine. AVNS RESPONSE: Melissa, contact us! We'd be happy to send a replacement sprayer so you can enjoy your purchase! :)

Wonderful Product
I love the ACV rinse. I use it after one of the awesome shampoo bars, and it leaves my hair soft and shiny. I don't rinse it out, as I think it works better as a leave-in conditioner.

really good
Great product in combination with the shampoo bars. The scent isn't as bad as I thought considering the vinegar.
