Buttermilk, a natural pro-biotic full of lactic acid, is found in many beauty products and is fabulous for softening, brightening and exfoliating skin. Lactic acid is also used to treat age spots and freckles and to tighten skin. Olive oil, organic jojoba oil, and mango butter, with their emollient properties, round out this beauty treatment for your hair and body. Lavender has countless benefits for skin and scalp due to its antiseptic and anti-fungal properties. It is used to treat skin conditions such as acne, wrinkles, psoriasis, and other inflammations. The vanilla adds a warm, creamy sweetness to the lavender essential oil making this a calming, dreamy, unforgettable scent.
Ingredients: saponified oils of organic coconut, organic sustainable palm, castor bean, organic olive, organic jojoba, and mango seed butter, buttermilk, rosemary oil extract, and essential oils of Vanilla, Eucalyptus, Estragon, fragrance.
*Please be aware that this shampoo bar does contain a blend of pure essential oils plus less than .01% of a phthalate-free fragrance oil too boost the natural scent, find out more. As this soap contains a synthetic fragrance it is now being DISCONTINUED, once it's sold out it will not be coming back. If we can create a similar scent profile, or a scent that we think is reminiscent of this soap with just essential oils, we will bring it back. But the new version will be 100% natural, all of the same base ingredients, but with a slightly difference scent.

If you've never used a solid shampoo bar in your hair, you may wonder "how do I do that?" It's easy. Just get your hair wet, take the bar and rub it all over your scalp and hair. Put the bar down and work it into a wonderful lather. You may find that the first time you use a shampoo/body bar in your hair it feels different. Using natural ingredients is not going to give you the same feeling chemically laden choices do because the natural oils are not being stripped away. In addition, your hair may require a transition process before it is fully free of all the other chemicals and residues from prior hair products. You can read more about this transition process HERE.

Heavenly
Ive used this on my scalp before. I got cancer, had chemo and was bald. Hair is back and so am I. Lavender is very soothing. I'm in heaven with the feel of my scalp and look of my hair! And the smell is lovely and stays in my hair. Hope it's never discontinued!

Nourishing!
My hair feels so soft, airy, and nourished after just one use! I usually add oil to my hair as soon as it's dry to re-nourish and moisturize it, but it felt unnecessary after using this soap. Plus, my husband has complimented the scent several times. Thank you!

Great scent!
One of my favorite scents. I love that this product is safe as it's made with natural ingredients. It is lathering and moisturizing and makes a great body bar for showering but also for hand washing at your sink.

Lavender Buttermilk Shampoo Bar
This is the BEST Shampoo Bar EVER! I have fine hair that gets oily at the roots and dry at the ends. This shampoo bar cleans the scalp well but does not dry out the ends. And it smells amazing. I have used so many brands of shampoo bars and have bad luck with most of them. Some of the very well known natural shampoo bar makers do not work on my hair at all. I want to add that I do have hard water. I have to scrub my shower down twice a week and I still have a soap scum problem from the hard water BUT this shampoo bar does work for me as long as I use a vinegar rinse. I can not say enough good things about this bar.

I love the smell of this soap... I think I will try the oil that goes with it as well. It leaves my hair moisturized and manageable.

Even the kids love this one
Lavender Buttermilk and Bamboo are my two favorite scents that I have tried. (least favorite is the Bella Rose) Lavender Buttermilk not only has a soothing scent, but left my hair so soft and full of body. Not an easy task for fine, dry hair. As well, my kids keep stealing this one from me for their hair. My daughter says it's because it makes her smell like a princess!

Wonderful Product
I've become sort of biased to Apple Valley products. So far I like everything I've tried. I like this one but wish it had a bit more of a lavender smell (just a personal thing). It does smell good though and lathers well with a long lasting smell. I will be buying it again.
