Buttermilk, a natural pro-biotic full of lactic acid, is found in many beauty products and is fabulous for softening, brightening and exfoliating skin. Lactic acid is also used to treat age spots and freckles and to tighten skin. Olive oil, organic jojoba oil, and mango butter, with their emollient properties, round out this beauty treatment for your hair and body. Lavender has countless benefits for skin and scalp due to its antiseptic and anti-fungal properties. It is used to treat skin conditions such as acne, wrinkles, psoriasis, and other inflammations. The vanilla adds a warm, creamy sweetness to the lavender essential oil making this a calming, dreamy, unforgettable scent.
Ingredients: saponified oils of organic coconut, organic sustainable palm, castor bean, organic olive, organic jojoba, and mango seed butter, buttermilk, rosemary oil extract, and essential oils of Vanilla, Eucalyptus, Estragon, fragrance.
*Please be aware that this shampoo bar does contain a blend of pure essential oils plus less than .01% of a phthalate-free fragrance oil too boost the natural scent, find out more. As this soap contains a synthetic fragrance it is now being DISCONTINUED, once it's sold out it will not be coming back. If we can create a similar scent profile, or a scent that we think is reminiscent of this soap with just essential oils, we will bring it back. But the new version will be 100% natural, all of the same base ingredients, but with a slightly difference scent.

If you've never used a solid shampoo bar in your hair, you may wonder "how do I do that?" It's easy. Just get your hair wet, take the bar and rub it all over your scalp and hair. Put the bar down and work it into a wonderful lather. You may find that the first time you use a shampoo/body bar in your hair it feels different. Using natural ingredients is not going to give you the same feeling chemically laden choices do because the natural oils are not being stripped away. In addition, your hair may require a transition process before it is fully free of all the other chemicals and residues from prior hair products. You can read more about this transition process HERE.

Smells So Wonderful!
This is definitely one of my favorite shampoo bars. The smell is so amazing. I wish I could smell like this all day. It works wonderfully on my hair and cleans it just right. I bought the sample of this but when I'm finished with it I will definitely buy a full size bar. Amazing!!

Love, love, love
I am absolutely in love with the smell of this shampoo bar!! It is so lovely and does a wonderful job at cleaning my hair. The scent also lasts all day, which I love!! When my husband gave me a hug he actually told me it reminded him of incense, so it definitely leaves a soft beautiful smell to the hair!

Beautiful scent
Lavender is one of my favourite scents. This bar does not disappoint. It smells so beautiful as I lather up my hands. I have noticed they are healing and are so much softer. I have had chronic sore chapped hands for years. My friends and co workers have even noticed theirs feeling better as well. I have been leaving a bar at the sink at work for myself but I guess all my "sharing" has got the better of them. Well I don't mind sharing this great product. Now they can buy their own;)

Love, love, love!
I recently bought several different shampoo bar samples, and this one is my favorite. It smells amazing, and it works so well! I have an odd mix of very dry but very fine hair, so I have trouble finding shampoos or conditioners that moisturize AND give my hair body. This bar definitely does the trick. I couldn't believe how much body my hair had after air-drying. I normally have to blow-dry to get any body at all. I will definitely be ordering a whole bunch of full-sized bars. As a side note, my 7 and 9-year-old kids have been finding that it's a lot easier to wash their own hair with a bar. They tend to have a hard time figuring out how much regular shampoo to use, and this takes the guess work out of it. They can just rub it on their hair until it gets foamy, and they're good to go! The fact that they can just go ahead and use it on their bodies too is a bonus. Anything that simplifies the process is awesome : )

Wonderful smelling bar!!
First let me say I LOVE your soaps!! Lavender is one of my all time favorite scents, the smell of this bar is WONDERFUL!! I wanted to LOVE it for my hair, however I do not, (thankful I only purchased the sample), it leaves my hair very dry & course feeling. :/ HOWEVER, the free sample of the White China Silk that you scent is a favorite I plan to keep on hand... IT keeps my hair silky soft, and moisturized & has a great scent as well. Thank you for the wonderful products!!

Smells wonderful!
This is my favorite out of all of Apple Valley's soap bars. I know it says shampoo bar, but I actually use it as a regular soap bar. My last baby has very sensitive skin and I just starting using this bar on her at night about a month ago. She has no problems whatsoever with it bothering her skin. Plus, she smells so heavenly tucked into her sleeper after bathing in Lavender Buttermilk!!

I love the smell of this bar! The lather is rich & creamy. It rinses out clean. My hair is pretty dry & this bar makes it more manageable & softer feeling.

Love Lavender
I love this bar. It's for a great smell and lathers well for my hair. I don't need the vinegar rinse after every wash with this bar. The lovely smell lasts quite a while too. Have just ordered my 2nd batch of this amazing Lavender Buttermilk bar.
