Even though our Peppermint Tea Tree shampoo bar feels great on scalp and skin, the main benefit of this bar is the health it can help restore to both hair and scalp. Nourishment and restorative properties from the specifically chosen carrier oils plus added healing from the essential oil blend.
Some of the benefits, but not limited to, are with ingredients such as Coconut oil which is a super-oil full of naturally present antioxidants, it is an excellent anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial. Olive oil which is packed with anti-aging antioxidants and hydrating squalene, making it superb for hair, skin, and nails. Jojoba oil is a natural anti-fungal, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory, its properties keep the scalp clean and healthy. It can also prevent hair loss and thinning caused by the clogged hair follicles as it dissolves and clears these blockages and promotes the development of new hair cells, which can lead to hair growth. Shea butter strengthens your skin by stimulating the production of collagen, it helps make your skin more supple, more alive, nourished and radiant. For the essential oils, both peppermint and tea tree essential oils have antibacterial, antiviral, anti-inflammatory properties. Peppermint adds a cooling effect which can help eliminate the urge to scratch, while tea tree thanks to it's fantastic anti-fungal properties is great for fighting dandruff. Tea tree oil fights the fungus that causes dandruff without drying out the scalp, it can also serve as a natural conditioner and eliminate problems that lead the scalp to flake.
Ingredients: saponified oils of organic coconut, organic olive, castor bean, sunflower, organic sustainable palm, organic jojoba, organic shea nut butter, and mango seed butter, rosemary oil extract, and essential oils of organic peppermint and organic tea tree.

If you've never used a solid shampoo bar in your hair, you may wonder "how do I do that?" It's easy. Just get your hair wet, take the bar and rub it all over your scalp and hair. Put the bar down and work it into a wonderful lather. You may find that the first time you use a shampoo/body bar in your hair it feels different. Using natural ingredients is not going to give you the same feeling chemically laden choices do because the natural oils are not being stripped away. Peppermint Tea Tree
My daughter really enjoys using this bar. She does not like "girly" scents, so this one is perfect. She really likes the minty smell.

Great for Sensitive/Problem Scalps!
I have suffered from an angry, oily, sensitive scalp (seborrheic dermatitis) for many years and have long very thick wavy hair. I have tried shampoo soaps from other companies, but they irritated my scalp. Well, last night I tried your peppermint tea tree shampoo bar and guess what? Your shampoo soap did NOT irritate my sensitive scalp or my face! After coming out of the shower, my scalp did NOT start irritating me as it usually does after shampooing. I am now wondering, in the past was I using too harsh shampoo bars from other companies that was making my sensitive scalp worse and drying out my skin? My guess is yes, probably. Well, guess what? Now I'm sticking to just Apple Valley shampoo bars and soaps, which my scalp and hair prefer! This morning (after shampooing last night) my scalp is still clear and not bothering me at all (no itching, redness, or soreness) and my hair is shiny, full of body, and so soft - I can't stop touching it! Thank you so much Natalie, for this AMAZING shampoo bar! Finally, I found the solution and I'm so thrilled!

Perfect Shampoo Bar and Body Bar in One
Absolutely love this Peppermint Tea Tree Shampoo Bar and body bar rolled into one. Great at moisturizing the skin and hair. Love it so much that I just ordered several more bars of this and others.

Use a vinegar rinse!
This shampoo bar smells pretty good, although I could not smell much of the peppermint in "peppermint tea tree". I used it for about a week and my hair was sticky- then I used a vinegar rinse and my hair was just fine. I am still getting used to shampoo thta doesn't get foamy with bubbles, let alone in a bar, but I am excited that it's all natural and seems to be a good shampoo. It is a lovely experience to open the package because it smells so good!

I love this bar! It helps with my dry scalp and I like that the scent isn't over powering. My first shampoo bar over a year ago and I haven't changed since! :)

We now buy 7 bars at a time of this!
I began using this in my journey towards shampoo bars. Fell in love. My husband has had major scalp issues for years. Sores, scaling, dandruff, itching, etc. He switched to his bar and no longer has ANY issues with his scalp. Sold us on it.

Like Natalie,this is my favorite shampoo bar, it leaves my hair remarkably clean without residue. I love the fresh clean scent of peppermint and my husband does too.
