Buttermilk, a natural pro-biotic full of lactic acid, is found in many beauty products and is fabulous for softening, brightening and exfoliating skin. Lactic acid is also used to treat age spots and freckles and to tighten skin. Olive oil, organic jojoba oil, and mango butter, with their emollient properties, round out this beauty treatment for your hair and body. Lavender has countless benefits for skin and scalp due to its antiseptic and anti-fungal properties. It is used to treat skin conditions such as acne, wrinkles, psoriasis, and other inflammations. The vanilla adds a warm, creamy sweetness to the lavender essential oil making this a calming, dreamy, unforgettable scent.

*Please be aware that this shampoo bar does contain a blend of pure essential oils plus less than .01% of a phthalate-free fragrance oil too boost the natural scent, find out more. As this soap contains a synthetic fragrance it is now being DISCONTINUED, once it’s sold out it will not be coming back. If we can create a similar scent profile, or a scent that we think is reminiscent of this soap with just essential oils, we will bring it back. But the new version will be 100% natural, all of the same base ingredients, but with a slightly difference scent.

If you’ve never used a solid shampoo bar in your hair, you may wonder “how do I do that?” It’s easy. Just get your hair wet, take the bar and rub it all over your scalp and hair. Put the bar down and work it into a wonderful lather. You may find that the first time you use a shampoo/body bar in your hair it feels different. Using natural ingredients is not going to give you the same feeling chemically laden choices do because the natural oils are not being stripped away.
