Chlorella is a green micro-algae and gets its name because of the high amounts of Chlorophyll that it contains, which in turn gives it the rich, green color. It is very high in powerful antioxidants, and contains alpha-carotene, beta carotene, lycopene, lutein, Vitamin B, E, C, D and K. This powerful micro-algae may improve collagen production in the skin, which in turn improves the elasticity of the skin, plus it’s a good source of MSM, which is a natural sulfur.
