Marshmallow shampoo? Bring it on, babe. The marshmallow herb is incredibly moisturizing. To get the most benefit from the herb, we let it sit in oils for a while until we get a mucilage that makes a fabulous vitamin and mineral-rich detangler for curly hair, this is what goes into our soap. Marshmallow root also nourishes and rehydrates dry cells, making this a great bar for dry hair, scalp and skin.
We added aloe because it rhymes with marshMALLOW and sounds cool. Actually, Aloe vera contains something called proteolytic enzymes which repairs dead skin cells on the scalp. It’s fabulous for skin because it’s rich in vitamin C, E and beta carotene which nourishes skin and scalp deeply. Also, due to its antifungal and antiviral properties, it prevents itching and reduces dandruff and flaking, it also has very potent anti-inflammatory properties which help reduce redness and inflammation. If that isn’t enough, it also acts as a great conditioner and leaves your hair all smooth and shiny, plus it promotes hair growth. What more could you want?
Maybe you are wondering how it smells? Earthy, warm, and sweet. Haunting. Delicious. It’s sort of hard to explain, so I recommend trying one just to find out.

If you’ve never used a solid shampoo bar in your hair, you may wonder “how do I do that?” It’s easy. Just get your hair wet, take the bar and rub it all over your scalp and hair. Put the bar down and work it into a wonderful lather. You may find that the first time you use a shampoo/body bar in your hair it feels different. Using natural ingredients is not going to give you the same feeling chemically laden choices do because the natural oils are not being stripped away. I use demi permanent hair color so I need a bar shampoo that keeps my color from fading. This shampoo maintains my color and gives my hair great body.
I will never go back to regular shampoo again! I purchased 3 sample bars and cannot wait to try the other two. My scalp does not feal sripped like regular shampoo does. Even sulfate free shampoos left my scalp dry. The whole texture of my hair feels strong and healthier than it has in a long time. I do have hard water but did a final rinse in distilled water and will do a vinegar rinse once every 2 weeks. I am so grateful to have found this product site. I will definitely be a happy customer!
